Vehicle Seat Covers - FAQs
Finding the perfect seat covers to match your vehicle is often a difficult decision. We know you want to get the most for your money. While most of our seat covers are designed to match most common vehicle specifications, should you need extra help please call or contact us and we will try everything in our power to ensure you find the perfect seat covers for your vehicle:
Q: What kind of warranty do your vehicle seat covers have?
A: Our cVovers are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship. If you have a problem with the covers you must contact us and explain the problem and get a return authorization number. Once we receive the covers we will determine whether to replace or repair the damaged cover. Shipping for warranty repair is not covered.
Q: Are the seatcovers you sell designed to go over the existing covers, or do they replace them? Are they identical to the OEM covers that are already on, or are they different?
A: Our seatcovers are designed to fit right over the existing factory covers. There is no need to remove or replace them. They are custom covers with slightly different design and stitching.
Q: Are these seat covers made to replace my existing upholstery or to go over it?
A: Our covers are made to go on over the original seats either to protect the existing seats, or to make damaged seats look new again. Because of their custom fit, once installed, it is usually very hard to tell that you have covers in your vehicle.
Q: Are they machine washable?
A: Although the fabrics are machine washable, the covers have 3/16"-1/2" foam backing. Machine washing will damage the foam backing and voids the warranty. We suggest using a spray on type upholstery cleaner or dry cleaning if they get badly soiled. Generally, the covers will not need to be cleaned often with a little regular care. If you spill something on the covers, try to wipe it up as soon as possible to prevent stains from soaking in. If necessary, after wiping up a spill, use a damp cloth to try and take any discoloration from the spill out.
Q: It's hard to see the colors on my computer. Can you send me samples?
A: Ys, we would be happy to. We would rather send out samples to make sure the colors match than to have you get something you aren't happy with. Simply e-mail us with the colors you would like to see and we will send them out right away.
Q: My vehicle isn't listed, but the seats look the same as the ones in this other vehicle. Will they work?
A: Although you may have a seat that is similar to ones in another vehicle, 99% of the time they will not fit your vehicle. These seat covers are made to fit the seats they are intended for exactly. Any variation in size, thickness etc. will affect the fit of the covers. If you order a set of covers for a vehicle other than the ones they are designed for, they can not be returned.
Q: I'm not sure which ones to order for my vehicle. Can you help?
A: Absolutely! We would love to help you figure out the right covers for your vehicle. Please call us at (877) 284-3433, M-F 8am-5pm. Try and have the vehicle nearby and available to look at so we can ask for the details we need to get the right part number for you.
Q: Which color will match my interior the best?
A: Because we do not install the covers here at our factory, it is hard for us to know exactly which colors are best for each vehicle. The best way to find out what will look best in your vehicle is to look at our Fabrics and Colors page and pick out the colors you think are the closest. Contact us to request samples of these colors, then match them up to your vehicle.
Q: Does the price include front and back, both front seats, or is it for each seat?
A: Seat covers are priced per row (fronts, middles or rears). This is because of the many different types of vehicle configurations. When you place an order for a set of covers, you will receive all of the pieces needed to cover the row of seats they were ordered for. This includes headrest and armrest covers where applicable.
Q: I am looking for leather covers to replace my existing ones. Do you make these?
A: We do make real leather covers. We Do not make replacement covers. Our covers are made to go on over the existing ones.
Q: I am looking for Hawaiian print covers or animal print covers. Do you make these?
A: No we do not make any covers in colors other than what is on our Fabrics page.
Q: My seats are electric, but you don't show this option. Why not?
A: Some vehicles have the electric controls on a separate plastic side panel that is the same as the vehicle without the electric seat option. If your controls are located on a panel like this, the covers will be the same as the manual seats.
Q: Can they be embroidered with my cars logo or favorite team logo?
A: We do have a source for custom embroidery on the seat covers. Although we can get your covers embroidered with your name or your own company name or logo, we can not get your covers embroidered with any registered trade marks, logo's etc without express permission of the trademark owner. In most cases this requires a licensing fee that is too cost prohibtive for one or two sets of covers. We are looking into licensing options for some of the more popular logo's (football, baseball...) but do not have any at this time.
Q: I need covers to protect the seats from my kids or dogs, or something waterproof. What is the best material for this?
A: The Endura is a heavy duty, waterproof material similar to kid's school backpacks. It has a vinyl backing on it to make it nearly 100% waterproof. The material itself is also very durable and tough. This is the recommended material for protection from kids, dogs, mechanics and construction workers!
Q: Can you match my vehicle's interior exactly?
A: The velour materials we carry are original equipment fabrics. This means that we have the same materials that are in some vehicles. We can't carry the same material that is in every vehicle though. We try to carry a variety of the most common color schemes that are available in vehicles today so that we can match color and shade of most vehicles. The pattern and style will be different in most cases.
Q: I don't see pictures of my cars seats here. Can you send me pictures of your covers installed on my seats?
A: Because we have patterns for over 1000 different vehicles, it would be nearly impossible to keep pictures of all of them. We do have a variety of pictures of the different materials and styles, including some sent in by our customers. You can see them here.
Q: How hard are they to install?
A: Although installation varies by vehicle, most covers are made to install easily with the seats in the vehicle. Some rear seats require removing the seats from the vehicle when they are mounted to the rear of the passenger cabin. Q: I don't see my vehicle listed. Don't you make covers for it?
A: We are always developing new patterns. You can call or e-mail us to find out if we have your vehicles pattern yet, or if we will be. If you have a vehicle that is more than a couple of years old, and we don't have it listed, we probably will not be getting it. We specialize in Trucks and SUV's, and most Japanese imports. Some vehicles that we don't tend to do are the high end cars (Cadillac, Mercedes, BMW...) as we do not get many requests for our style of covers for these, and the costs of pattern development are prohibitive for vehicles with limited demand.
Q: I have a new model year vehicle. Do you have covers for it yet?
A: We try to get new patterns listed online as soon as they become available. It doesn't always work though. You can contact us to find out if it is available, or when we expect to have them.
